Harry, I just can't stand it anymore....why keep on signing off, 'Harry', sh_t we know who you are.
I understand why rtb often signs off with his bear thingy, RTB is permanently stuck in 'cute' mode.
But your last two posts (above) include 5 words, one of which is your name 'Harry', and 4 words, one of which is your name again. I just don't get it.
And why do you post only when you quote someone else?
Seems 99% of your posts include someone elses quote.
I just have to ask pal.
And yes I wanted to ask at the last RT...but got distracted if you remember....

Sorry if that is the cause of undue annoyance on your part (or maybe even other's), but signing my name at the bottom of a message is a totally instinctive action, honed by having posted on newsgroups, BBSs, fora, and e-mails for over 20 years. Initially, it's just good style (aka a polite sign off), but in the end, it just stuck. Signing off like that is just like being on auto-pilot for me.
Does it really drive you batty? If so, I can see if I can make an effort to eradicate this habit for this site.
As for only responding to other postings - isn't that what 90% of those on this forum do as well?

Hey Harry it's just that for the short form of the forum it seems superfluous, especially when you post twice in a row.
And in addition, why have a phoney handle if your going to use your real name (I assume) anyway?
You should do as you wish. I just wanted an explanation.
But on the other topic, I do think you 'quote post' more than anyone, but I have zero proof and certainly would not bother myself to confirm it.
Just one of those useless things you notice at times. Don't read to much into it. Except of course, you quoted me, but I did not quote you.
And I guess you know this was fastmover talking to you, so I will not sign off..

Well, if it is Sauron, which I doubt, then I would not mess with him either. If I was a betting person, my money would be on Sauron to be able to "lay the lumber" on anyone in this forum and not even break a sweat. And like I said, I don't think it's him. He would not waste his time creating another user id. He'd just come back as either CJ or Sauron.
