No, it wasn't who you're thinking of. I like watermelon, but don't know about a steady diet of her. She can be really nice, but she can be really annoying too.
This girl's family lives in Pattaya.
I didn't hang out with the parents, I'm older. LOL Dad slept through it, so I think I'm safe. She really is a sweet girl though. I could certainly do worse, but probably coundn't do better.
Her brother is very frightening, however. He has tattoos of swastikas. We just shook hands, and then I tried to steer clear of him. The family seemed to think he was crazy.

Meeting an Asian girl's parents, especially ones not living in the west, is a serious thing from the girl's perspective. You should avoid doing that unless you plan to have a relationship with the girl, otherwise, things could get ugly.

Is this GF a real girl or a person of the other category? I ask because this could have a bearing on what type of gift to bring to the family reunion.
If it's a real girl, you could bring perfume and foo-foo water and all those pretty frilly things.
If it's a person of the other category, you might want to rethink and bring some Craftsman hand tools.
As far as the family is concerned, bring some whiskey for the father and cash for everybody else.

As far as I know, I'm not getting married. Thankfully, I can't afford to. She's a Polo girl, not quite as expensive as Soi 33, but close.
The girl from Buffalo Bar was really hot, I may go see her again next month. I recommend you keep her occupied in the meantime, she gives you a lot of bang for the buck. Go for it, Bro.

Hi,
I spent 10 days days a few weeks ago up north hanging around with the family of my TGF. Her family know well that she 'works bar' but this was the first time she had brought anyone home to meet the folks.
I found the family to be great. It was almost embarrasing how much they went out of their way to look after me and make sure I was always comfortable/fed/watered etc.
I didn't bring any presents of any sort, but found that I pretty much paid for everything during my stay. The thais don't do dutch when it comes to paying for stuff, and any bill is typically paid for by the elder in any social situation. If there's a falang in the group... hes pretty much gonna be expected to pick up the tab, its a status thing.
I had a great time.

Uh.... what you described is the asian way for most asian cultures. They always treat the guest well, whether they like them or not. You won't know unless you can hear what they are saying in the kitchen on after you leave!! ha ha ha!! ANd i'm just talkin' ingeneral and not about your experience.
ANd don't want to burst your bubble, but as for picking up the bill, it's not a status thing for a farlang to piick up the bill. It's call a "sucker" move. In asian culture the guest is not suppose to pay for anything like meals or drinks. Just like they treat the guest very well in their homes.
Now, the postering with the elders in a social situation is more show then anything else. Because they usually know who's gonna pay the bill anyways. Happens all the time with Asians. Kinda stupid if you ask me. Just pay the bill and be quiet is my moto!! ha ha ha!!
Anyways, good to hear you had a good time. Again, i'm not saying her family tried to "jack you" for your money. Just keepin' it real!!
