Never heard of youngsters like you having to go without in LOS. In fact you are the prime age for many. I would suggest always going with two girls. Often it creates a competition among them to see who get you off better/faster!
Beware tho, I never have trouble finding parking for my walker. I just can never remember where I left it!

If you add the two girls' ages and then multiply by a factor of 1.5 and still comes up less than your age, then you are not too old to play in BKK !! Have fun 555555

Dont worry about being too old, in fact being "only" 30 is a disadvantage in the gogo bars. Many girls think that at this age you have no money and are somehow "dangerous"...

I'm a young 59 year old and you may have read some of my exploits on this board. My advise is to get your arse over to Asia and not only Thailand you will have a ball.
Im working in Taiwan had a Taiwaese GF for 2 years and an Indoneian girl for a year, also knocked off the PI cleaner and made many visits to PI and Thailand.

If you do fingd a girl that you fancy keeping for a few days, get her out of the sack and do some sight seeing, shopping etc. Slip by her bar early in the evening and pay the extra BF or even two at once then get away from the bar/gogo area, there's a lot of BKK out there go and enjoy it chances are the girl will not have seen it either.
The extra pleasure I've recieved back in the room after buying the girl an outfit is wonderful (clothes are cheap in MBK) you can also teach a bit of dress sense, like no white shoes! take em bowling or to a Tranny show it all works wonders.
Another plus is you can have an afternoon beer in a bar and be surrounded in eye candy, now you cant get that back in the The Ship Inn back home.

As the others have said, forget the escort service agencies, just stay somewhere on Sukhumvit between soi 4 and soi cowboy and walk around.
There'll be enough girls chasing after you. Smile a lot and joke with them a bit and you'll have a great time.
Being your first time, try different places, NEP, cowboy, beer bars, beergarden and see where you feel most comfortable... hell, try them all and then make up your mind after that.
