As long as they have been driven carefully, lubed regularly and had regular maintenance and check-ups they are usually better value than fresh out of the showroom.
Let somebody else pay to break them in.
Some of them have had aftermarket "headlight's" installed and other's have had the "stick shift" removed.

some prefer automatic also because there is no clutch.
my preference is for a 5-speed box.

Just a word to the wise..
Check under the hood.. if it's leaking before you start it up, leave it.. It needs a serious mechanic.
