I just wish there was some legal way of deducting a sponsorship off of your taxes, say as a charitable donation.
Alot more money gets to where it's really needed with alot less administrative expenses taken out.
Say maybe "The BG foundation of LOS", with progressively better benefits as the donation amount goes up......lolol.

I see nothing inherently wrong with the concept of sponsoring - not that I have ever done it myself.
However, what people who sponsor must realise is that you are effectively simply renting the girl for however long you want her, rather than offering her any long term financial security or financial commitment. As such she is always likely to be on the look out for a 'better deal' and has no particular reason to emotionally commit to just you.
Sponsoring a bar girl or hooker has the other inherent problem that the girl is....well errr.... a hooker and has therefore made a carreer out of lying and being lied to by men. As such any financial agreement you come to with her is unlikely to be worth the paper it isnt written on.

I prefer the best of both worlds: sponsoring  and giks  lol!
Sponsoring... which I've done with my TGF for the last 4 years (since I spend about 6 months out of the year living with her, I wonder if this is, technically speaking, sponsoring). And having some good friends who are giks, and to the best of my knowledge,  are sponsored.
What does my TGF for the 6 months I ain't in LOS? Hell if I know...

Yeah, even if I was a millionaire i'd never sponsor a girl unless I was planning on marrying her and even then she would have to pass all the "trust" tests I could throw at her. I don't see the point in "renting" a girl longterm. If you really want a pretty thing to dangle on your arm everyday while you pretend that you're james bond and happily in love then it's better to compile a black book of "on call" girls that you have known for awhile. The best thing to have are "giks" or party girls who you are good friends with but who understand the need for you to f*** them from time to time. You can still take those girls on extended vacations and receive the full girlfriend experience with less emotional headgames. You will also spend far less money in the long run. There are girls out there who are more than happy to see you from time to time and they will treat you like a boyfriend..for awhile anyways.
I still haven't seen a faithful sponsored girl either.
