I told you to declare to US Customs, that means filling out a form provided by them for the purpose, and to Thai Customs, using form they will provide on the airplane before you land.
If you have time to do this via the banking system, cool.
If not the hand carry with written declarations at both ends will suffice.
I can't tell you strongly enough how important the written declarations are, without them your money will be subject to civil forfeiture in USA and you will be in violation of Federal laws with felony penalties. Don't let yourself get in that box.
