Giving food to the beggars... reminds me of a eisode of Seinfeld where they stand in line for the cinema and a guy comes up to them. One of them gives him a sandwich and this beggar gets ballistic.....

I remember one day last summer, in Frankfurt right by the Central Train Station, there was a guy sitting down with at least three empy beer cans and smoking Marlbro's (not the cheap sh_t one can buy)...
He had a (really skinny) mongrel dog lying there in the heat and a sign saying he just wanted money to feed his dog.. Yeh right... I thought got -cha ya bastard.
So I went over to a chicken place directly opposite and ordered half chicken. I waited while it cooled down and picked the meat off the bones, put it back in the bag and went back across the street...
Then I just gave it to the dog... He nearly bit my fuking hand off!
But the look I got from him was classic! One would have thought I had just stolen his last penny...
He never said a word, not even thanks, I just stared back at him and within 1 minute the chicken was gone... And so was I. But the dog was happy..
There are many ways to help all those in need even if they are animals.. They still have feelings.
