Your main problem is that Thai prostitution is far too big a subject for a term paper. You're talking about something which has been deeply entrenched in Thai society for centuries, and which encompasses a very wide spectrum ranging all the way from street prostitutes (as at home) up to mia noi (kept mistresses or concubines), rented wives & so on. Obviously, the vast bulk of it is aimed at Thai men, and only a small specialised section at various groups of foreigners (farang, Japanese etc). Occasionally, there is some cross-over - eg, at the BKK massage parlours.
Your best bet is to narrow the focus right down. Possible topics could include 'open-ended' prostitution (ie, the GFE phenomenon), cross-border trafficking, the tolerance and high incidence of transexuality (katoeys & toms), the differential earning power and/or status of various groups of prostitutes, 'retirement' patterns, the incidence of middle-class part-timing, the growth of male prostitution, etc etc - the ramifications of the subject are vast.
A helluva lot has already been published. Some of it is worth reading, some of it is just worthless ideological ranting. Best do a search at Amazon, find out what's available, and then pick a topic which doesn't fit very easily into current feminist dogma. If it's unfamiliar territory, your teach won't find it so easy to apply existing prejudices. Also by placing your topic in context (this is just the way it is, I'm looking at how this bit fits in) you should have less difficulty adopting a neutral 'scientific' approach.

This forum exists for people to help each other out who are of a like mind, share info, and maybe even to get to know one another and meet up eventually. If that isn't done in a friendly and mutually benefical way, then said person doesn't deserve to have a voice here.
You, Tigercode73, come here asking for help in writing a paper and, in doing so, end up offending (and now insulting) some people. You've just admitted that you don't give a damn about that. There's an unspoken level of respect for the other brothers on this forum which is given and reciprocated. You don't.

At the very beginning when I was searching for Thai ladies on the net, when I found BKKtonite, I discovered a number of sociologic reports regardinf the sex industry in LOS. If they are any good, I don't know, but a lot has been written.
In the end, it comes down to this: the Thal ladies a wonderful at giving a regular looser like me a great Girlfriend experience.
