The crock' had eaten her wings, hence she was a bit miffed at it 'cause she would've been able to fly to the funeral but due to the crock' the Buffalo had to ride her bike. Aparently the snake or serpent as I prefer to call it ("snake" is sssso ano domini) was applyin' a third coat of creosote to the fence surroundin' the garden. Unfortunately I don't speak fluent serpent so I wasn't able to ask why.

The question that begs asking, however, is since serpents have no ears and thus are incapable of hearing, why would they need a language? Particularly one of ancient Latin heritage?
Could the creosoting of fence posts be some sort of subliminal message to other serpents or even snakes since they have no known language?
