I thank you for all of your advise, I think that I'll have a few ideas up my sleave and see what she would like to do rather than having nothing and sitting around the hotel room all day and all night.
It wouldn't look good if I ask her what she wants to do and her saying "up to you" and not having anything at all to suggest.
I know some of you guys would say you would stay in the hotel room bonking, but I've been there done that several times now it is time to venture out and make one girl's day and then she can make my night.
It's a shame about the ice rink, that would've been fun, well back to the drawing board.
5 weeks and counting (I hope).

Boat to Yok Yur does not go from Thaksin; sorry. The ferry (!?) to Yok Yur goes from 'River City' next to the 'Royal Orchid' hotel. This ferry goes to both Yok Yur and to Yok Yur Marina. Marina might actually be the better choice.
