Look, both Sauron and Haam Sup were well read, well informed and undoubtedly smart guys who were gratuitously rude and officious with just about everyone who crossed their paths. That's about it.
This forum is not poorer for their absence.
Tigercode73 is just a boring guy who's busy winding everyone up and getting off on the response.

i will have to agree with Addy here about his comments regarding ABC's post.
there are a few Members who seem to have decided to lurk and sometimes post.
when I first joined this Board it was a fun place to be and a wealth of infomation with many good people.
it is a real shame that many of them have decided this Board is not for them anymore.
some people had good info to be told and it's a shame they feel they cannot contribute much these days.
good to see ABC coming back after a little abscence...

The problem with 'the good old days' is you only tend to remember the good and filter the bad. Have things really changed much?
Visitors will likely post more before they're coming to LOS, and when they're here, because that's when this content is most relevant to them. Doesn't that explain the patterns you're alluding to, Nokna?
For example, I recall long ago, a newbie berating other members for using Viagra just because they were older and their bodies physiology will no longer allow them to perform at the same level. Can you imagine that? Really think the number of truely idiotic flames have increased? I think not.
