I am still looking for the light of day here. For example, lets suggest you go to change money at a bank. There is a cute 'cleaning lady' that catches your eye. She is smiling and you are smiling and you say hello.
You go back the next day - same deal and now you try a little Thai lingo. She is impressed and is all gigly.
You now changed money 4 days in a row and have talked to her a quite bit and you get the vibe she is interested so you invite her for a coffee.
One thing leads to another and you end up boinking her. She tells you she never did this before. She is a single mother. etc. etc. You feel a bit awkward but you like her so you give her Bt 2000 taxi money. You are not going to make her your girlfriend and you probably will move onto the next 'target'.
Is what I have just described "bad"? Is it really any different than the situation where you jumped the hotel maid?
If this is "bad" I think I need to go to confession in a hurry. If not is it "acceptable"?

First, this is quite different than DG exposing himself to a hotel maid and offering X baht for a quick shag.
JA, in your hypothetical example, when you bonked her, did you have the intention of not seeing her again? This might affect the answer to your question.
If she's not p4p then don't pay for play. Just my opinion.

the Receptionist at my regular Hotel was a BABE and I really fancied her every time I stayed at the Hotel.
so many times I wanted to ask her out for a meal and then seen what might have happened.
but I decided I could not,she was a respectable Girl (as far as I knew),had a regular job (might not have paid much) and I thought if I had done the deed and we were found out then she might have been sacked and her fairly good life would be ruined.

Go to the beer garden, you will find some interesting girls there. I met one ex-hotel receptionist, whom I recently bumped into in Hong Kong (Neptune II), kinda interesting to note that the "price" was the same, just different currency. Also in the beer garden was also a university student, whose parents have decent jobs (one works in a well known hospital). She was out for some extra cash.
