This is similar to the point I have already made. If one's spouse did find out because you passed on a STD disease that you got in Thailand, the financial consequences (assuming your wife did not kill you) is likely to do much harm than any antibiotics you take, even if they are not prescribed by a doctor.

STD Clinics in LOS are about as common as 7-11's, and they are aware of the problem and how best to treat it.
But agreed, if the original poster is that worried, he isnt going to enjoy himself anyway...
Personally, I would suggest he comes/cums? to LOS, and just go's with the flow - which will invariably lead to a session or 2 with a TG.... BUT, he can be safe in the knowledge, that should he pick up more than a runny nose, there are clinics readily available to deal with the problem quickly and effectively.

Mr Alan we all know the point you are trying to make and I dont think anyone minds that. The problem is, the way you are trying to make this point is POTENTIALLY dangerous. As TPE says there is plenty of clinics with qualified doctors. Leave it to them.

Interesting topic really. We should leave wifes out of the forum - but of course it is a reality for many of us. And I donīt mean it in a negative way! So what is the basic problem? Banging a TG or bringing home something unwanted? Or perhaps even worse - a sweet little face and a body to die for engraved in your everyday memory tormenting you whilst you are looking at your lifes companion who were just about the same --- 20 years and same no of kilos ago..... you have everything together but thunder and lightning is long gone and sex happens every 2 weeks after the saturday evening movie and a couple of whiskies.... you donīt want to leave her -- but life is not passing by any slower and you realise that there is a set number of years you have left in your lifes bankaccount when you can still get it on and have some fun with your body and basic jurasic instincts. A man is a stoneage hunter - whether it is for the wild boar or that sweet mouth to lower itself over your shaft for the first time..... at that moment: would you back off and say "no thanks maīm - I am a married gentleman!" If you REALLY would - why are you at this forum?! ha!
Sooooo ----- should you or shouldnt you?! Guess we all once in a while ask ourselves that question. If your companion found out - you would hurt her and insult her BIG time. But you still have your bodily functions mostly intact and in a mans dino-brain - what is greater or more fun than a beautiful woman and a night of hot sex with no demands?? Risks? STDīs or divorces. The first is easily avoided with raincoats. The second part can not be advised upon -- every grown up man has to make his own choice and decision - and be prepared to take the consequences! Donīt wine afterwards if caught! You took a calculated risk and either won - or lost.
Me? Well- I am not that old - but that is something that will for sure (hopefully!) change and before you know it - one is sitting in a wheelchair at the elderly home looking out the window, dreaming of past days and cursing the chances you had but did not go for! Or maybe not?! Who knows. Have fun - but try not to hurt anyone - yourself included!
Oh BTW: I spend approx 8-10 weeks per year in LOS and would not change that for anything - draw your own conclusions!

No, you don't understand the point I am making. Some antibiotics are routinely used as a precaution in advance. This is common practice by medical professionals, but must not be abused. I have documented those situations in previous posts.
Going to a clinic will not help because I am not talking about treatment for disease that has already progressed to the point where it can be detected. I don't think you understand the situation of the Original Poster.

Yes, some strains are resistant to Azithromycin. Note that I also suggested Ciprobay (the name used by Bayer in Thailand). Since I am not talking about treating someone who already has indications of STD, and I was suggesting a precautionary regimen, then it would be silly to discuss a specific diagnosis. Not only would it be silly, it might be fatal to the OP's marriage.
To repeat, I am not prescribing or suggesting medicine to someone who already has symptoms of a disease. For that, you should see a qualified medical professional.
