I have heard others say this, but in my experience it isn't true.
After several years of learning Thai from BGs, I took Thai instruction from a private teacher who would definitely have said so if my meager paasaa Thai revealed any such origins. Teacher said nothing of the kind.

You have been told pretty much to forget about it and just have recreational sex, you don't need to impress anyone. Probably true. Personally I have found if I treat the girl nicely as though I am interested in romance, sometimes I get a better response both in the bar and in bed. Not always, but sometimes. It has also backfired where the girl took my interest too seriously instead of realizing it was just club talk. Anyway, lots of us louts don't have great hygiene. A fresh shower, shave, clean clothes and brushed teeth go a long way to impress some girls. While I understand what so many posters have said, for me whatever I can do to make the experience more fun, the better. I understand its about money and its what they do. I also work for money but some days are definitely better than other days and usually the thing that makes them better is not profound. Time for another chocolate shake, the last one seems to be wearing off.

Romantic has not been in my equation. Being "Nice" to good girls works fine, and they also let you go do your thing when you need to.
Before I could only be in BKK for 1-3 weeks also. That did not stop me from having a few different types of girls in my BKK portfolio. The trick is to juggle them all at once. Like I said before, f*** P4P girls for fun, and get your GFE from normal girls in your off P4P times. But if you just stay in Nana your whole time, you are limiting yourself for normal girls.
I reccomend prior to coming to BKK you get on one of the many TG dating sites. Meet some good girls online to have lined up to do normal things with, and then when you are not playing with them...go out whoring. It is pretty simple, and will keep you sane.
