TC73, maybe you should write your paper (this one is really yours) about the sociological perspective which examines how individuals (YOU) and groups (the rest here) interact, focusing on the creation of personal identity through interaction with others. Of particular interest could be the relationship between individual action and group pressures as shown in the changing of your own topic. See? You could write a paper about writing your paper.
This perspective, called symbolic interactionism examines the idea that subjective meanings are socially constructed, and that these subjective meanings interrelate with objective actions.
TC73, now that I got your attention, maybe you could also questions if knowledge is possible, and if so, what is knowledge? How can we know that other minds (i.e. other thinking beings) actually exist? This is called epistemology.
Well, you knowing something would mean that you have some knowledge. But what is knowledge? Maybe we have to go back a bit now. Plato said that "knowledge is justified true belief."
But WTF does that really mean to you? Any clue? Well, one implication of Plato's definition is that one can't be said to "know" something just because one believes it and that belief turns out to be true. An sick person with no medical training but an optimistic attitude might believe that he will recover from his illness quickly. This might turn out to be true - and there might be a connection between the truth and the belief in it, if the patient's optimistic attitude helped bring about this confirmation. But, most philosophers today would probably say that the patient did not have knowledge that he would get well before he did - because there was not enough justification for the belief. 
In the context of epistemology, belief is not used in the sense of having confidence or faith in something. Belief is used in the sense of assenting to the truth of some proposition or statement. Beliefs in this sense are either true or false. If Jenny believes that x is true, and x is in fact true, then Jenny holds a true belief. But on the Theaetetus account, if that belief is to count as knowledge, it must also have a suitable justification. Knowledge, therefore, is distinguished from true belief by its justification, and much of epistemology is concerned with how true beliefs might be properly justified.
Now. maybe we should go and discuss how the beliefs in inverted hemorroids can actually rid your brain of some stupidity. Are you game?

Given that tigerdumb73 seems not to want to discuss his inverted hemorroids in HIS thread, perhaps I should post address anoother topic that he may find more interesting.
Maybe you could write your paper about the Lunatic Fringe and some of the problems it is still trying to tackle, like the answer to understanding how and what do the blind see in their dreams. Besides being a better topic than what you had in mind for your paper, this may have the benefit of enlightening you.
Alternatively, you may want to simply consider and elaborate and expand on the fact that way too many scrotums rubbing your back are glarinly nonsensical, blasphemical, false and unsmegmatic, as well as, contradict common sense, scientific facts, and are in clear confilict with modernism, intelectualism and the feminism that dominates today anarchists among the stupid inteligentia that has never been to LOS and slighty and gradualy infiltrate into the masses of wannabe nurses deprived of sex who have to resort to copulating with dead furry animals.
Still need more suggestions?
