first trip eh, well a week in BKK and then a few weeks in Pattaya I guess.
that will give you a BKK taster, of cowboy, thermae, patpong, nana.
as its your first, I guess you will go crazy buying lady drinks,
and generally get taken to the f***in cleaners.
so easy does it on the wallet.
but dont tellem its your first trip because they will know you dont know rates and take you to the cleaners.

If I could do my first time holiday to Thailand again I would probably spend a couple of days in BKK... then a week in Phuket (for fishing this is a good place)... a week in Pattaya... and again a few days in BKK...
And don't stay with the same girl !!...

I just got back from LOS where I took two co-worker newbies with me. These were my observations of these two guys.
Background: Both early 30's, avg height and weight, decent looking guys, plenty of baht. Single and horny.
They were both imtimidated by Eden and would not indulge. Waited for me at the Soi 7 Beer Bar where they chatted up girls but no takeout.
Had to drag them out of the GoGo's everynight. They were more relaxed in SC than Nana or Patpong.
They wanted to patrol Sukhumvit like the BiB...a waste !
They enjoyed looking at the Massage Parlor Fishbowls...took em hours to make a choice. They were hooked on Poseidon.
They had to try every American Fast Food place to see if it was "Like Home". Major Whip !
They were more relaxed in Pattaya and finally started banging girls all night long. After that they really got into BKK on the final leg of our trip... hitting up girls on the Sukh all night. They found some gems.
I would recommend you head straight for Pattaya because these guys were real Newbies and they were more relaxed there than BKK. The P4P is more in your face I guess ?
Unfortunately I had business in Takhli and missed the Pattaya leg....they probably just played connect 4 all night with some 50yo mamasan.
