highest season for tourists to visit LOS is "cool season" say November to January. But you ask about BKK. Same comment applies in terms of weather but it is always busy. But don't worry. There are always enough girls to go around.

The rains are consoderably harder in LOS. I think that the rains are more refreshing in LOS than in Korea, because it is more humid in LOS. So cooling off with the rains are even better.

i do not mind the rainy season as it usually only rains for a couple of hours here and after everything is allright again. but being from mid-northern europe i am probably used to rain a lot so i do not know what your tolerance to rain is! i actually give a shit as long as the bars and mps are wide open!!!

I have been in Thailand every time of the year.. lived there for two years and have made trips over the last 15 years during every period of the year.
Only one time I don't like it April 13 -15 .. that sucks ..
As noted the rain is not that bad.. what is the worst that can happen you get a bit wet??
The really hot time is not that bad as you always have AC to fall back on.
I must admit that I would like it if the weather was more like Dec/Jan, but then we would have too damn many tourists .. better to have the heat and rain and keep the f_cking "amateurs" somewhere else.

Hmmm it is not that fun to go to any place in the Andaman Sea between May to Oct-Nov. This is the so called "monsoon season". So windy and high incidence of accidents in the beach....However, who the hell cares about resting on the beach if your main purpose is to rest on YOUR bed surrounded by Thai TGs, right? If you want to come during this "monsoon season" and would like to go to the beach, try Hua Hin, Cha Am and Pattaya. As Griffin said, rain is not a big deal in Bangkok. Only the flooding and traffic jam that come afterwards is a shit....
