Well my 2nd trip to LOS is booked. Heading striaght to Pattaya again late April!
This time though i've booked my last to nights at the Majestic Suites in bkk.
I am a bit nervous about being in bkk as I have know idea where everything is.
I am sure if I had the time I could find all the info on this forum but would be easier if you guys could give me a few pointers on expected prices for BF'S LT/ST etc. I would expect it to be more than Pattaya, but how much more?
Also any special places a newbie should go? I have also read that NEP is a little intimidating. Any tips in bkk survival would be good....

While I am paralized by these choices, I suggest you either use the search engine, or browse threads that look like they might contain your information.

Well as you have been a member since june 2004 and are not leaving till april it should give you plenty of time to use the search engine. All you ask about can be found there.
Oh hell, walk out of Majestic turn left go to the corner turn left walk past two bars turn left and enter NEP. Have a beer in one of the outside bars to take it all in.
Prices vary alot so not much to say YMMV. BF 600 LT 1500-4000 but most often 2000. ST 1000 and up but most often 1500 or more.
Blow your mind firsts by hitting some of the places like Rainbow I and II but don't just stay on the ground floor check out some of the smaller places on the upper floors. You can find some real gems sometimes.
Or you can turn right out of your hotel cross the street and head down to Soi Cowboy for a lot of fun also. Bit of a walk or take the BTS to the Asoke station, or taxi, moto. Not as mind blowing as NEP but sometimes more fun.
Take one night and hit Patpong. Go to Queens Castel II if you want a no hassle show. Kings Corner if you want to check out an odd half real thai girls half LB go-go, Kings Castle III is suppost to have the best LB. Be careful the bars there are can be very pushy and overcharge or rip you off. If you only have 2 nights I would skip Patpong. I go once per trip and that is enough for me.
Start out early and hit soi 21 Beer Bars you will feel a bit at home like pattaya but way smaller. Hit Soi 33 for happy hour early and just relax then move on to NEP or Cowboy.
Wait till the bars close and hit the Nana Parking lot and walk up and down the strip just taking it all in.
Hit Edens, Barons if you want a change of pace.
Well hope that helps. Two days really is not enough time IMHO.
How did you totally miss BKK on your first trip. Land and take a taxi straight to Pattaya and then the same when you left? Never even taking a couple days to check out BKK? Why not hit BKK first as you already know Pattaya then go after two days if you have had enough. You just might end your trip wishing you had spent more time in BKK doing it your way.
Oh and no not all the girls are good to go for 500st and 1000LT in BKK.

1,000 st to 1,500. 1,500 lt to 2,500. More than that you are paying too much. Freelancers 500 to 1,000 st, lt 1,000 to 2,000. With two days, go to Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy. They are within walking distance of each other or just take a bus that runs on Sukhumvit for 5 baht. Walk on Sukhumvit and you'll see how its set up. Take a quick walk around Nana Plaza or just watch the activity. To treat yourself, go to Eden. If you have more questions, send me a pm.

Hard to imagine the NEP as being "intimidating" - unless you go up the back stairs, turn right and walk past Casanova's on your first visit, haha...

Perhaps you read the title and thought that it referred to bowling, ice skating, discos, cinema etc.
Any tips on Bangkok survival? Yes. Always wear a condom during penetrative sex.

1) Nana Entertainment Plaza.
2) Nana Hotel- Lobby and Disco, starts to rock around midnight, then the parking lot after 2AM.
For short time, if you can't get laid at these places, you have a bigger problem than not using the search engine.
