I had an experience on my first trip to Koh Samui where I had a body oil and when I took my clothes off and was about to drop the undies, the girl said " no no - that's ok".
Is that normal?
I am going to BBK 26th of februrary for 14 days and my question is - should I allways ask if it's ok to drop my undies or should I just peel them of ?

I've only had two Oilies, so I'm no expert, but in both cases, the girls asked me to take off everything. As one of these two girls was the legendary Saeng from Barons, it is hard to know what would have been normal there anyway! A folded towel was strategically placed over my middle. Whilst I was lying on my front, this was removed.

How in the world do you do even a legit oil massage with undied on?
Last thing anyone wants is to walk out with a partially oil-soaked pair of undied on. Everything off, my friend, and let the masseuse worry about keeping the area covered up.

I've had a couple of oilys in Phuket in the last couple of years. Both walked across the street to my hotel room. The first young lady I asked about undies and she said take it all off. I would say if she asks you to keep the undies and you are looking for extras send her on her way. That might be an indication of the service.

When having a legit oil massage (or better; aromatherapy massage) in a proper establishment you normally will be offered a replacement 'paper short' if you feel uncomfortable to undress totally.
If not needed by you, the masseuse will take care that private parts will be covered and will even cover parts 'rising to the occcasion'.
Above is at a legit spa or massage salon, do not think that places like Barons, Teen, Orchid etc will offer those options. Those places are not geared towards a 'real' massage but rather towards the naughty ones.
(Just to be complete. There is a big difference between the common oil massages and an aromatherapy massage. For the oil massage normally a mineral oil is used. This will barely penetrate your skin and therefor only benefits as a massage liquid. An aromatherapy massage is done with a 100% natural oil which is sented with a 100% essential oil. Base oils used can contain aloe vera, jojoba, sweet almond, macadamia nut, grape, sunflower oils etc. An aromatherapy massage will allow the healing properties of the oil to penetrate your skin and will restore the balance in your body, leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.)

Funny you should mention legit massage parlors. I was in a respected establishment next to the Silom BTS. The girl walked in as I'm standing with this little paper thing barely covering up the goods and she kneels down and pulls the paper thing off. She was on her knees and staring at my "Herman" and I'm thinking maybe, just maybe. Nope. It stayed covered for the next two hours, no accidental touches....nothing. The massage was great. Try Body Tune sometime if you just want a normal, GREAT massage but don't expect anything else.
