On a normal day about 700.000 people live there. With some festivity that could double with visitors. When everybody is on holiday it could drop to maybe 500.000. But to call it lifeless????????????????????????

I came over 21 years ago and never left...........
Its an adult disneyland like los but different.

I went to Hamsterjam on a cold, wet Sunday mornin'. It was shut!
On a 5 hour layover to the States I visited every museum, art gallery, place of interest on my tourist's guide map and they were all closed until the PM.
My flight left at 14:00 (ish) so I contented myself with walkin' a lot and I took that opportunity to break-in a new pair of brogues. Bad idea as they gave me huge blisters so I rested and had a nice coffee in a wee independent coffee shop that didn't sell weed!
I chatted to a few people but there were no floosies out'n'bout just loadsa beggers so I took the early train back to the airport.

PS: I should visit again, shouldn't I?

Amsterdam is the new name in Champs Elysee, which has a thread here.
For a sample of the sideliners, this is Khunying Bell SL21.
I haven't been inside since the launch. The mamasans turned me off this place with their dishonesty. It's in the upper price bracket and standards in there had dropped over the past 12 months or so. Maybe the Amsterdam relaunch will see improvements.

Thankyou, I couldn't remember the original name of it........In fact I could never remember seeing a name on it at all.
So...it's a soapy....
Busy...?..I have never seen sight nor sound of anything going on in the place.
btw...the fire escapes look like they were a last minute add on, I wouldn't wanna go down them in an emergency with for that 2 38kg TG's......
