I talked to a guy here one day and a freind of him had been married too a BG and paid a small fee when they where married but after this he have not seen her much and have trouble getting in contact etc, anyone heard of this before?
I think the parents of the BG wasnt present at the wedding either, a fake wedding?

The thing about a scam is that it is a 'get rich quick scheme'. You know you get lured into a jewellry store and sold some fake gems.
Now normally if you actually 'marry' someone you know her a year or two first. You meet her parents and her friends. That is the way the world works. Scams essentially do not happen in these time frames.
Now, of course you hear of lots of stories of guys meeting a hooker and marrying her two weeks later only to find.......well just fill in the blank....
If you marry a hooker you hardly know and it all goes pear shaped you can hardly call it a scam. It is just supidity...

The difficulty here is that there are some (a minority) who do know how impressed we are when we meet the parents. We're told all about how this means the girl is serious. Read Thailand Fever for more on this.
So the easy way to unlock the readies is to show the man you're serious.
Mary him if you have to.
I met some poor American who had been down this road. Only after the marriage ceremony did he buy houses for the family and his wife. then a car for her.
She don't love him anymore. Not bad bht 5,000,000 for 18 months' work.
The best one I hear of took ten years in which a TG got her German husband to send money back to her "family" in Thailand. Once he'd finished the payments on what turned out to be her Thai husband's house did she leave the German and come back here to her real husband.
Tell me where a Thai can earn that sort of money legitimately.
I would add that there are perfectly good marriages between farang and Thai, but not often involving bargirls.

Even more stupid are the stories of guys who marry the girls and then go home. HUH? How the f*** can they marry someone in a different continent.
Regulars will recall my story of a girl being sponsored 200,000 baht a month by an American, while she was living with and shagging a young Danish guy here in Bkk without him knowing.
An update. She pressured the yank into marrying her. She told him her only parent alive (and this is true) is a monk, so any sinsod goes to her. She's suddenly increased her bank account a cool million as a result.
He comes over a few weeks ago to marry her. Me and GF boycott the wedding - I can't face it through fear I would let the cat out of the bag.
He then goes home, back to Lala land. So now Mrs Rich Guy is alone again back in BKK, and moved back in with Danish guy.
Life is great, isnt it?

Well I am not sure who got the best deal here. If the German married at home he would have lost a lot more in the divorce. He got to return well used goods (10 years of f***ing) probably a good time to trade up. The Thai guy got a house, but has to put up with his Thai wife probably fattened up by German food and complete with Beehive hair style. I hoped he banked enough money to buy Mekong for the rest of his life. He will need it.
