I'll be hitting Bangkok in January and in preparation before my visit i've been exchanging some mails with a TG via a dating site.Anyway this girl looks interesting, has an office job (so she tells me,which I believe from the pics she sent me) and has agreed to show me around Bangkok.
The funny thing is she asked me what type of relationship I wanted, sexual partner,friend, long term etc..
I told her I wouldnt say no to some night time activities, anyway at the moment it looks sorted,she even said I can stay at her place, but of course im gonna get a hotel so i'll be free without any hastles.
At first glance this might seem like the perfect senario, a sexy chick showing me around Bangkok,GF experience all for free.We'll no direct payment anyway.
So i'm just wondering what the chances are that it could be genuine on her part since from what she's told me it looks like she has a good job and decent salary.
I just think it would be nice to hook up with a genuine Thai chick for a week or so and see how the regular thai life is away from the bar scene.
Anyway,when I arrive i'll go for a beer and afew games of pool to see what she's like.
So the question is what do you think her game is?
1) Is she gonna start a shopping expedition once we meet up and give me all sob stories about buffalo's and what not..?
2) Is she just looking for a good time with a farang who can treat her? I dont mind this so much
3) Is she trying to escape Thailand and marry a farang.
Also in your opinion would sex with this type of TG be statstically safer than a BG or would you classify her as the same risk as a freelancer? I think the reason the freelancers may be more risky is because a high percentage maybe ex BGs who lost their job due to contracting a disease!While in her case if she has a good office job this senario isnt likely.
Anyway just give opinions please,no flaming as i'm going into this with my eyes wide open....

There are a surpirising # of office girls (receptionists, salesgirls, etc) who sometimes hang out in Patpong discos and the like or pubs with live music etc in foreign tourist entertainment zones. I've met a few in either scenario: while they're at work and while they're having fun at night; in fact I've seen some there in both. Some girls like to have fun where the foreigners are. And if those girls are single, you've got a chance, especially if you fit their other specs like decent looking enough, speak Thai etc etc. Some others short time too.
Could've been there she picked up her penchant for foreign meat. And money. If she's willing to flirt with you email style (which is what it sounds like a bit) then you may not be her first. I think you're right in not wanting to hook up with her the whole time. But she good be good for a few well-spaced nights, and if you're drinking and dancing, very good chance she'll wind up in your bed. but you gotta know where to draw the line; I'd be thinking more like the "gik" relations popular now. In between dates, buy her a little gift.
However if your alert signs go on and she starts talking about bigger investments, ditch her.
The "regular Thai life"?  For Thai girls... shopping in big department malls, sleeping, watching TV, eating, dancing, gossiping with friends and f***ing boyfriends. Which one appeals to you? Conversation is just to see which is next of these activities you can do together, not a thing in itself. You might get a nice walk by the river out of it.
Use protection during sex, dude, if that's what you're referring to about FL's. Basically all Thai girls are FL's from a certain perspective. They have Thai boyfriends who f*** around etc. Unless they're shacked up they like to have more than one boyfriend and get things bought for them and this makes them the envy of the other girls--and that is their ambition in life.
Are they safer than FL's bars? Yes. Are they perfectly safe? No.
In any event, potential for some pleasant and different experiences for you. In one way it's a whole world of difference--you start getting into the culture more. Yet in another way, Thai women are all the same. Good luck! and let us know how it went!!

Her question about what type of relationship is a normal one for any girl in the world. Just tell start as friends and see how it goes.
I don't know why guys act like the victim of these shopping escapades. I think most guys do it to themselves. Trying to act like big money. I have plenty of girls that I spend time with, and I don't take any of them on shopping sprees, and they don't really ask for them. Any normal girl who has a job, is not out looking for a free shopping trip.
A lot of the normal girls you meet on the internet just like Farang guys. That is their style. We all have our own style. They also like to practice their English, or just hang out with someone different.
Most Thai girls that like Farangs might want a farang husband, but that does not really mean that they are trying to leave thailand. For some it is just the price they have to pay. They don't like cold weather.
All P4P girls are risky. Wear a condom with all girls.
I reccomend you just keep things casual with this girl. Take her out to dinner, date her on occassion while you here, f*** her if that evolves into that, but under no circumstances lock yourself into solid plan to spend your entire holiday with her. You might end up like that guy Bert Boy.
Lastly, don't take anything for "Free" from people. Like the room offer. That automatically gives them ammunition for later requests about how they helped you...blah blah blah, and you need to help them now. Don't get into that position, even with them giving you small stuff.

BellaItalia, there are many TGs that would like to experiment but not within their circle of friends. So, you are a good candidate. There was a member on this board who lined up a whole string of TGs (via ICQ or IM) on one of his trips here, and had all of them in his hotel. They were all non-P4P, no strings attached, well all he did pay for were the drinks and dinner. One TG even said, "I just want sex with you, not love".
