Spent my first night in Bangkok last night for over 7 years - FR elsewhere - I found it a bit of a challenge at first whilst sober.
Of course after a few brews it all comes back to you.
Just wondered if fellow members have issues going it alone?
Do you prefer to hunt in packs or pairs?
I noticed a lot of solo guys on the prowl and it seems the 2/3/4 mongers seem to have more of a laugh than the billy no mates like myself last night.

Currently I'm sitting outside Dynasty Inn - this TG came into the hotel 2 hours ago with an Old dude - left and hour later putting cash in her purse - and in the last hour she has walked past me 4 times smiling like a cheshire cat.
Might had been tempted if she hadn't already been at it tonight

I am not a pack animal, dont mind meeting the blokes for a few jars of ale but not for mongering. Pairs is ok and doable its good to have a wing man show you the ropes and its also good now and again to take a mate somewhere they have never been. Last trip took a mate for his first time at SOL and the Strip in PP. Needless to say he was blown away! Another convert. But when on a monger run solo is the way to go.
