personally i hate S/T hotels.

nokna, thanks for the comments. I will be staying in BKK for several days after my arrival on Nov 12/13. I will probably book a room for a few days at the Nana Hotel. My first time so I need to get my bearings. I was thinking of taking the train or bus to Pattaya for a few days then maybe further down the coast for some days. Are there lady friends to be found in any numbers in the Ko Samet area? Also, I thought It might be interesting to take the night train up to Chang Mai. Any thoughts anyone? Thanks, Petero

1. Few girls will be toting toys around.
2. Remember: the only lubes that are not direct threats to condom integrity are KY and similar WATER based products. NOT baby oil, NOT petroleum jelly. Even if these don't result in a full blown failure, they will always create a multitude of micro-holes in the latex which are vastly larger than viruses or bacteria.

It certainly does make sense for you to bring your own lube and not be too macho to use it when it is necessary.
Unfortunately, most foreplay (at least the really fun kinds) involve some form of exchange of bodily fluids, so if you want to be safe, that is not always an option. (How safe it is is another topic.)
Also depending on how long you're going at it, and how many times you switch positions, etc. a little extra lube would be prudent. If you don't have it, you'll be tempted to keep going past the point where it is no longer comfortable for her and where it is dangerous for both of you.
Girls carrying their own toys are extremely rare. If you want to bring toys for them to play with, try to teach them to use the toys safely too.

I do always bring my own lube along. When having a long session I have very often found it useful.
I have so far not met a TG who carried her own lube or even a toy around.
