I've been reading a lot of stuff on the forum (both new and old posts) and have probably confused myself..
Do TG ID's have a different year structure on them than Western?
What is Penegra?

In addition to it being 2546, most Thai people count themselves as being one year old when they are born.
Therefore, be carefull if she said she was 16 she is probably 15, actually definitely 15.

For some reason, my TGF gave me her age correctly. I asked her about the "one year old" thing, and she seemed a little puzzled, even though she has a little trouble with the western calendar. To be sure, I checked her passport and sure enough, she had it right. No, not 16 ...

Thai New Year Festival is at Songkran.....however the Thai calender follows the Western one in terms of Years. It is now 2546

TIT, anything for a drink/Holiday/Sanuk ... Chinese New Year gets a big go here as well ! Yep, my TG insisted she was 20 for 12 months and she could go to Clubs etc... but B'day was Dec. 2525 - [1982.] At least she can go leagally now -
