OK those of you that know me, know that because of this friggin war I had to cancel my trip.
As of April 16th I will able to travel.
I want to go to LOS ASAP. (I was supposed to be there RIGHT NOW!!!!!) 
Anyway's here is my question.
What is the best time to go? It will cost me an arm and a leg to go before May 1 because of plane ticket prices. I spent 1616.00 for my ticket a few months back. If I want to go ON April 16 then it will cost me another 1800.00 (I have no idea why) If I wait till May 1 then British Air will let me go for same price. I was thinking May 1 - 15
Is May an OK time to go? Is there any reason to wait?
How about weather. I was told by a buddy of mine that June July would be better because of less men and there are more ladies to choose from and they are almost desperate to hook up with you.
Is this true?
I have also heard October is the best month.
(I really didn't want to wait till October though.)
Can anyone give me the hook up on a good time to go?
and why the time you recomend is best.

weather wise from April onwards, the chances of rain and afternoon thunderstorms increases until about Oct, Nov in Bangkok. The humidity also increases. Usually the number of guys does decrease though. But the last few months there have been relatively few ( compared to previous years ) around and that was supposed to be the busy period. Snag is, if its too quiet some girls go home or change location ie from BKK to Pattaya or Phuket to Pattaya etc They move to where the customers are. But there will still be more than enough to go round, especially in Pattaya.
My advice, come over when the ticket price drops and use the savings to have a whale of a time 
The ticket might cost more because of Easter / Songkran on April 16. I think they coincide this year.

May is HOT in BKK and Pattaya !! Blistering heat.
October it rains evenings or nights , I have not seen too many afternoon rains.
If you visit Pattaya , there You may have some afternoon rains.
My favourite months are March and October.
WHAT COMES TO THE NUMBER OF TOURISTS , N O W THE AMOUNT IS LOWER.
This info is 72 hrs old , just came back from LOS.

I don't think I can wait till October.
I will just have to stay in the places with A/C and take a lot of showers.
No problem.
October is too far away. I am getting to antsy. Besides I have to look at a few apartments and stuff like that for my relocation.

Yep, just get here ! anytime is good time, or long time/short time - Actually after songkran, say 17th onwards, ideal, as all the TGs have been upcountry, and are back in town, fresh and broke ! Also less tourists around, so much more choice, re the heat, well, not too bad, anyway, after going out all night, dealing to a TG or 2 until daylight, you can sleep most of the day, like they do !

May 1 is definitely the early stage of low season and yes it will be very hot in LOS but if you can take the heat then it is a good time to go. Less tourist, but still plenty of ladies to go around. Hotel prices are lower and rooms are easily available. Because of this I have made it official. I myself will be returning to LOS for my third, and sad to say probably last time on Sunday May 11. I'm staying for 2 weeks this time and returning Sunday May 25. This way I can take advantage of Monday the 26, being Memorial Day, having the holiday off to rest up from my rest  before going back to work on Tuesday. I'll probably only be in BKK on the weekends, except for the first night on Monday the 12th. The weekdays will be spent first in Pattaya, then the following week, not really decided yet. If you're there then first drinks on me. The 12th I'll be at Bamboo Bar around 7pm. Peace

main body of Cobra Gold arrives approximately 1st of May - havent heard anything about the exercise being cancelled/postponed. my old reserve unit is still scheduled to go. Military may trim down number os soldiers/marines but either way there should still be enough women to go around.

November-February is high season.
July-August is good, but hot...then when is Bangkok NOT hot.
