To get a correct answer to your question it would be necessary to know the context, i.e. exactly what you are trying to say.
The phrase Jimmy D gave you - "Hai Geeadt" - literally means "to show respect (for)" (Hai = "to give" , Geeadt = respect or, more correctly perhaps, "honour" ) and the phrase would properly be used as in "giving respect" to an elder relative for example. (Do NOT tell a girlfriend - much less a BG - that you "Hai Geeadt" her, .... sounds VERY nerdish!)
If you want to use the word "face" as in "losing face" etc., you should definitely not use "Geeadt", in Thai the word is the same, literally, face - "Na", so "losing face" is "Sia Na", to deliberately make someone lose face, "Cheet Na" ("Cheet" means to tear), to gain face - "Dai Na" etc..

It might be pathetic,but it can and does get said.
After confering with my wife and 4 Thai brothers/sisters in law,they assure me that "hai geeadt"is one of the terms that can be used and is not "nerdy".
Of course it doesnt help when the guy saying it is a 70 year old slobbering pervert.
If the Thai/farang" whoremonger"feels he has a relationship with his B.G. over period of time "hai geeadt"in some form can be appropriate.
