Interested in seeing some ass kicking. Is there a best day to go in the week (want to go to Lumpini Stadium). What times should I expect to be there - from when to when - don't want to be there all night. Years ago I went to see kickboxing in Bali and they started off with kids matches (which was rather boring) and progressively got to the better matches. Should I expect the same thing here? I want to see the real deal, blood, sweat and tears. Any info would be appreciated - the search directory didn't mention some of these questions.

Have been to Thai boxing matchs on two trips to Bkk. Each time, I went to a travel agent... usually at the hotel, and arranged for the trip through them. Probably cost more than just going myself, but they knew when the matches were, and arranged for trans there and back. The last time, after watching several matches, they had a regular boxing match... was quite boring in comparison.

Califdann, I was thinking to go through the hotel agents myself as you did. Even though it will most likely cost more hopefully they will know when the good fights are being held.
