BIG hello to everyone.
I have to say this is a very good forum. I have been a member of other forums on thailand but this is really the best I have seen so far.
The topic are very well organised and one will find it relatively easy to search the various interest that we want whether be it beer bar or soapy massage to oil massage.
I have gathered lots of information from this forum but had never posted before.
Today is my first day in Bangkok and decided its time I return the forum what it had given me.
So I shall write a report "LIVE" from Bangkok whenever I have time.
Hope you guys find it useful as I am still a newbie and enjoy reading it.
PS: This report was written on the first day (Monday) but I had to wait quite a while before I got my password so it is delayed.

A little background about my other adventures
I have been to other parts of Thailand namely Phuket, Samui and Hatyai. Being an Asian,, Hatyai is the most friendly place for me but the lack of places of interest greatly discouraged me to visit. I have taken a hatyai girl before and travel with her to Samui. It was quite a good experience. Samui is truly a romantic beautiful place to go if you have a girl with you.
Phuket or more accurately Patong had been my favourite playground. I been there more than 8 times in the past 3 years. This time, I was there for 7 days before heading down for my virgin trip to Bangkok. I liked the sun, beach and the holiday feel about the place. Ofcourse the girls too.
However, it is now a less fun place compare to 3 yrs ago when I first arrived. Much of the shows have been clamped down and the selection of girls also seem greatly decreased.
My fav ago-go bar Flash Ago-go is so tame now that its really boring.I will post my Phuket FR when I have more time.
Now on to my Bangkok adventure.

Having overspent in Phuket, I was really on a tight budget. When I arrived at the airport, many touts came and ask me to take a taxi ride for 500bht. Lucky I was able to resist and went to take a taxi just outside the airport, very convient and that cost me only 300bht.
Wanted to book Mahattan hotel from the net but it was "full" and ended up with Amabassdor!
And I must say those forumers who wrote about Amabassdor were right. My first experience here is really BAD! I don't think I will ever come back to this hotel again though I am planning to visit Bangkok very very soon.
From the check-in to the safe deposit to the concerige, all the service were BAD. I arrived at the hotel at 2pm and my room was not ready. They told me it will be at 2.45pm. I went for lunch and paid Marc from Eden a visit. Also walked along the streets and took the sky train for fun to taste a bit of bangkok life.
I came back at 3.30pm and the room is still not ready. I told them I was promised 2.45pm and I gave them an extra 30mins. I then said, its ok, just let me wait at the room while the housekeeping is done so at least I could smoke and enjoyed the aircon cause I just came back from the hot streets and was feeling jaded. Guess what the reply was from the pretty young recept. A BIG NO SIR!! I stand there and look at her for a while and she told me to take a seat. I could not believe what I was hearing.
Still I did not blast and went to take a seat. After 5 mins, I went up to another recept which was probably the only saving grace about this hotel. She was an older staff and I assume more experienced. I told her everything that happened and she kept apologising. Finally at 3.45pm, my room was ready. By now I have already decided I am looking for another hotel.
Ok...now for my sanuk adventure.

I went out exploring again with the aim of reaching Soi 22 to find Baron and Saeng for oil massage as I have heard many good things about the place. This time had to brave a BIG storm in Bangkok. Strange thing was I was told Patong weather is worst but I did not have any problem.
The rain was so BIG and they don't seem to have much shelter so I was all wet. I keep searching for Baron along street 22 and couldnt find the place.
Finally had to buy a Umbrella and guess what, the rain decided to stop now.
I had written 2 places down after my research on this forum - one was Sanzuka and the other was Baron.
I walked for a long time along soi 22 and saw many massage places but still could not find the 2 place mentioned. I was about to give up when I finally saw a small soi in soi 22. There it was, the sign leading to Sanzuka. Though the rain had stopped, the ground was still flooded with water.
Walked through a mud pool of water and finally at the end of this small soi, there it was - Sanzuka (Korean style massage).
I must say this is quite a nice place. The staff were very friendly. My 2nd experience of friendliness in the city of angels. First was a small internet shop near Soi 13 where a cluster of bars is. 2 cute thai girls were the first friendly people I meet in this BIG CITY. A very BIG change for me compare to Patong where almost everyone was friendly.
Anyway, I chose a scrub, bath and massage for 980bht and didnt know what to expect.
I was shown some photo of girls and good thing is they tell you who is on holiday and who is working now and who is avaliable. I chose a pretty young thing and she was ok except for very her limited lang ability.
I was brought to a cubicle and told to lie on a bed. Next I was clean, bath and scrub throughly. She even shampoo my hair which was wonderful considering I just brave through the rain.
The experience is exactly as described in the thread dedicated to this place in the oil massage section.
After the whole session, I even stayed back to watch the Liverpool vs Villa match on TV and the staff was again very friendly.
All those going to this place can look for the young papasan K and ask him for recommendations.

Hey guy I am also a newbie and will honour you with my first reply.
But I must ask you what makes you think that with all the experience the regulars have on this forum, anyone would possible want to hear about your room service problems?
Maybe if you had thrown the receptionist onto the unmade bed and ravished her as a penalty for shoddy service......that would be interesting, as well as your subsequent deportation from the country!
I cannot wait to see what 'problems ' you encounter next...maybe a burst condom (run back to the drugstore, ask for a refund)...or a fly in your coffee (offer a life preserver)....or a tuk tuk runs over your foot (call for a public hanging). I am sure drama will be served.
Its no wonder I see MEWBIES (pussys) getting a rough
time. As I said, I am also a NEWBIE and expect to get mine too.
Becareful on the rest of your trip or you have something to really tell us!

with your first post on the Forum you criticize another members first few posts.
way to go,keep it up and you will find yourself welcomed by many members.......
and i agree with Bok Hah,lets hear your straight to the point reports.
many people ramble in their FR's(myself being one of the worst offenders),but sometimes it adds to the story.
we are telling of our experiences and what happens and a lot of the incidental things are what makes things interesting.
