Just a thought, may interest some of the newbies on their way here, certainly many fine clubs/bars as detailed, but at times the bill can run up ; so if at some stage around Midnight-2;30am, you either [ which would be surprising] havent got a TG in hand, or perhaps want to just reflect on a couple of earlier STs, consider copping the plastic chair/table on the footpath between Sukhumvit soi's 13-15, just near Delifrance or a 24 hour Mini mart, you can by a small Thai Whiskey [Me-kong]or Rum[Sang-som], plus a couple of cokes and bucket of ice for about 100bt,- both drinkable, or a Beer, and sit for an hour or two. A French guy aptly described it, watching the "Opera of the street," - the passing parade is interesting to say the least, many girls going to, or leaving the nearby "Thermae" or Clinton Plaza bars, - and of course most on the look-out for an earn, so more than happy to join you ! - have to rate as the greatest value in town -

Good tip T.P.I, - especially at five past 2 in the morning, when they all stream out of Thermae and are DESPERATE for an earn - have picked up plenty of TGs in this locale.

What a great phrase,I like it "Opera of the Street" another good spot is in the lounge area of the Nana Hotel/Disco, you get a nice comfortable seat and you can sit and watch them parade in and out.

even better stay outside on the parking place as all the nana gogo bars close too, so that means hundreds of girls hanging around for 30 minutes or so to may be get a catch for the day. some of them are freebies as it is always better sleeping in a nice bed with aircon as going home to sukhumvit soi 100 something and sharing a room with three other girls or whatever!

think I do enuff standing around carparks etc. as it is Griffin, - so can't agree Nana carpark is a better place to pass the time, - maybe a better place to pick one up at 5 past 2, but to have a quiet drink, and watch the "passing parade" for an hour or two, value wise, no-where in the world would beat the site mentioned !

you will be impressed ! - Ýhardest part will be staying to see all the action, the odds of getting dragged off by a young TG for "short time, long time, ANYtime" are extremely good !! Ý The "Original" box seats as it were, are on the corner of soi 13, near the 7/11 - this was in the days when the Old Thermae was in action,- before being re sited down the road, and closing times were not invented ! Ý This corner is still OK, and "Moi" the old lady who sets up her stall there every night, as she has been doing for over 20 years, is on deck from about 9pm, - some of her relations open up further down the street, but have to wait till around midnight, owing to complaints from the Clinton Plaza bars, - selling drinks at 3 times the price ! ... anywhere along this stretch of sidewalk is interesting, but closer towards the new thermae, amongst the tables of Girls having some somtum, is obviously more interesting ! Ý Having been a regular for over 10 years, my buddies often like to meet up there, and as they maybe dont handle the local whiskey too well, often bring a duty free bottle of something, which we put on the table, and just buy some coke/Ice etc. at about 15bt. a bottle ... Ý Ýof course having a large Johnny black on the table instead of the normal "mehkong" gains you alot of respect from the girls wandering past also !! Ý

It's strange I did'nt realise that while there at the end of may this year. Infact that was the place to be on may 26. Everything that was open was not selling booze or beer, except there. You could buy beer. They had a live band to boot.
Day before on 25 & on 26 I was out there and did'nt pay it much mind. Of course I was with someone both times, so maby thats why I did'nt realy notice. We were rained on the night of the 26 so I took my TG and beer to that tatoo parlor and got myself a tatoo. I do remeber round that time alot of passersby. Next time i'll make it point, even if i'm holding at the time, to watch the show. Thanks bro.
