Will the government shut down any of the nightime activity during this holiday as this falls in the dates that I will be there? I'd hate to think of having a wasted day to sit in hotel room whacking Mr Lonely.

No, but August 10 is the first day of the squid harvest. All the P4P girls go to help their families clean squid and set the fileted squid on drying racks in the hot sun (dried squid). The odor is exceptionally bad in August......and the bad news is all P4P in the kingdom is shut down until the squid harvest is in and processed. This could be up to a month. Tiger you better hope for a bad squid harvest. Cheers
