At Nana carpark after 2am and bugger all there (high expectations, even higher disappointment) - taxi driver asks if I want to go to bar open after 2 - I say bull, no bar open after 2.....he is adamant that there was. After 10 minutes of hanging around I say ok, take me there.
The drink prices were high, about 200 or 300 baht per singha. Girls there in a sort of fisbowl environment without the glass. Place starts to loose a bit of atmosphere after about 4am.
But one of the best night I had (will expend in FR in due course). My advice is, ask the taxi drivers hanging around Nana carpark where bar open - you'll find one that will know.
Not sure if this was the name of the place or whether something handed to me on Suk, but the place may be the S.D. Club......???
The walk along Suk suggested by Dr Love is not a bad idea, just don't get accosted by any ladyboys  Happened to me, but all in fun - just keep walking and keep you smile on

this place is called embassy and is in the 2nd or 3rd soi to the right after mbk coming from nana.
about 30 girls there, drinks are standard thb 200, barfine varies on how much money you look like thb 1,500-3,000 that does include the girl!

Walk along the sukumvit.....go to nana parking lot....if you are real desperate looking for cheap alchool go to some thai karaoke in petchburi or ratchada......funny but scary places open untill 11 in the morning.....packed with people on the week end.....used to go there with my thai friends.....for sure no farangs inside..better for you not to go alone but with some thais....after 3 o'clock everybody is completly drunk over here but all the people are kind and curious about a farang coming there!!!! Who remembers the glorious time upstairs the suzy wong go go in soi cowboy?

probably many of similar fishbowl ktv joints around town as one taxi driver somehow managed to deroute me from siam hotel to such a place opposite WTC in front of big C I believe.
