There is a wat somewhere north of Bangkok where the monks take care of 8 tigers. They supposedly take them on walks in the village.
I want to visit and get a picture of me petting a big striped pussy. Anyone know the details of where this place is and the how2?

I dont know where that wat is but you can do it at Sarachi tiger park I got my pic with a tiger it was great they also have all sorts of other animals you can take your pic with for 50 bht crocs deer monkeys elephants and so on watch out for the horse though it bit me in the arm sarachi is right outside Pattaya

I was in this temple in december, it is in Kanchanaburri.
Just go there and ask for the "Tiger's Temple", anyone would know it.
If you want to avoid the crowd try to be there BEFORE the "official" opening time (let say 1PM instead of 3.3 pm).The "Venerable" that is in charge of the place is a real character and does speak good english also.

The crocodile park near Pattaya has tigers to be photographed with, the way they just sit there the poor things must be drugged up to the eye balls.
Saw an old newspaper article the other day about a chinese two ring circus, the trapese artist miss-judged his landing and ended up in the tigers cage. Luckily for him he wasn't killed or eaten, just buggered by one of the beast's!
Now that I would pay money to see, it would beat the Patpong dart and ping pong ball show anyday!!!!!!!!!!!
