I've been lurking for months and just wanted to say you have a great site here. I haven't been to Thailand for a few years and the links on your Site Map have brought me bang up to date (I am assuming) for my next trip shortly. The forum has also been a mine of information, albeit a bit more difficult for digging out the relevant bits, especially for lazy buggers like me. Just wanted to say thanks to all concerned.

Well newbies,keep watching over the next 10 days. I am doing the butterfly and I will post a blow by blow of all the action. I post what happens and what I pay (even when I pay too much. and the other members flame me) Just so all you daydreamers can find out how much of what you read in the press is BS and how great LOS is.
P.S I just bought Cialis from a drug store. 3500 baht for 4 20 mg tablets. I probably paid way way too much but I will continue to shop around.

A few of my friends as well as myself will be indebted to this site when we embark on a far more indulgant tour of booty next time we are in SEA which is this year.
We are not P4P fans per se but rather keen to glean what info we can about Thai nightlife etc.
We may indulge once or twice however this time around but my only comment is there is not enough talk about non-P4P encounters.

layne, that's because if you want ass-on-demand in Thailand you're probably going to have to pay for it. It takes longer to get into a good girl's pant than the typical length of a holiday.

Funny you should say that! When I first came accross the site I assumed, from the site title BkkTonite, that it would be about mainstream night-life in the city but a read through a couple of posts soon put an end to that notion.
By the way, what does P4P stand for? I can guess the meaning though in this context.

As you may have gleaned by now, 'mainstream' nightlife is pretty hard to define in BKK. You have a spectrum ranging from the obviously naughty nightlife (NEP etc) to stuff aimed at Darby & Joan.
Same applies to the TGs imo. There are obviously bad girls, obviously good girls, and just about every shade of grey inbetween. If you want to haunt the gentlemen's clubs, or discos where where farang hang out, you'd better start getting used to some very blurred boundaries.
