In July I will be fortunate enough to visit the famed LOS for two weeks! I will be attending a wedding and also guest DJing at a few clubs. Im looking for quality general "partying" advise, answers to a few questions, and even potential "partners in crime" while Im there.
First off, should I stay at the Sheraton Grande or the Royal Orchid Sheraton (and why) ? Next, confirm the following: 1usd=50baht? Next, what is a "lady drink"? I think I know but I want an extended version answer.
Next, do BG like farang DJ?

Either Sheratons will be fine, though Sheraton Grande would be closer to all the action.

Lady drink, is a drink that the lady drinks, depending on where you go, it would range from a small helping of stale coke to a decent drink, priced at 80-100 B (or more depending on where you are).

with an open mind and a willingness to explore, Thailand is a paradise. ANYTHING is for sale, and the slippery slope is very steep for the unwary.
For a closed mind and pre-conceived attitude, it is a challenge.
For someone who is a little lazy, it can be fun, but you will never truly appreciate the potential.

Just FYI-
I spent days and days reading prior to posting and I have already voiced my gratitude for the useful info I received from this superb forum. I simply had a few questions that I did not find answers to yet. Thanks to some they have been answered. If there are members that dont want to share, no prob; but why congratulate them on it? This whole third grade "we're to cool for newbies" sh*t is annoying and a waste of bandwith.
