Sorry if this topic has been addressed elsewhere but I don't seem to get the required results from the search engine and it takes forever.
Anyway my questions on newbie status are as follows:
Do replies count as posts?
How many posts do I need to rise from the newbie status?
Where do I find my posting stats?

Working purely from memory...
No; 30; you don't, at least not directly.
On that last bit, if you open the search from the link up at the top, put in your handle as the search term, tick search by author, leave it on "search topics started by an author", search "All forums" and go...
It should come back with a list of all topics you have started, and until your cherry pops they should all be in the "Newbie questions" forum.
Yes, Virgin-ia, you can just search the "Newbie questions" forum to get that number, but I wanted you to see how feature rich and wonderful the FSE is. End sarcasm...
And keep in mind that a thread can be moved out of "newbie questions" and into another forum, so it's the suspenders-and-belt solution to search them all.
