Do they have one for American to English. 
I would sign up for that one..
Although it is an interseting concept, I doubt it works well enough to get the real meaning across.
For example, what if I asked a TLB if he (she) has ever eaten Faggotts? 
I would love to know how it translates..

The website says "With no human intervention all messages are completely private and confidential.", which sounds like it's automated.
Not that I have a lot of experience using only translational programs, but from a programming background, I doubt that there is no system that can translate 100% the contents correctly from one language to another, especially if the text / wording is complex.
But, then again, maybe most are just looking for that simple, "hello. I'm fine" generic type email, then I'd give it a shot!! I mean, how complex can an email be to a bg anyways? It's not like most will be discussing rocket science anyways!!! ha ha ha!!

I have used it. No problem sending E.Mails in English which are translated into Thai. I sent one to myself and duly received it in Thai. At the Thai end TG's friend seems to be having a problem with it. Her English is good so she is quite happy to send E.Mails in English. My intention is to have TG use it. There is a fairly lengthy thread about this system on the FLB Forum, and most seem to be satisfied with it.

Hi Derman
I have been using Thai2Me to send e-mails to my girlfriend for about 6 weeks now. I have to say it has really helped my communication, she has never been so talkative!!
It seems she can understand everything I write, and does not have a problem writing back. Certainly works for me, so why not give it a go.

You are partially correct. This is a fully automated system and therefore has its limitations, for instance if you wish to discuss higher mathematics with your friend that may be a problem, as with some poetry.
However for everyday conversational language you will have no problem. This has been developed initially as a communication tool. We are now however working on taking it to the next level.

I am in Pattaya, if your friend is having problems and needs some help she can telephone me and I will get my TG to help sort things out. The system really is simple that I am sure whatever the problem we can resolve it quickly.
