I am leaveing for Thialand in a couple of days and was curious about a few things.
One - I have read a lot of the posts about the bar girls and wanted to know how one goes about even asking which girls are available and who do you pay the bar fines to? How do you find out what the girl will be willing to do?
Two - I am a tech geek and was wondering about certian electronics in Thialand. I noticed that companies like IBM and Dell have plants in Thialand and was wondering if there was anywhere that I could go to find "really cheap" parts from those manufactures.
Three - I would like to pick up a few things in Thialand that I can sell back here in the US. Anyone have any suggestions of what is good to buy in Thialnd and resell here in the US?

Just about all the girls are available, even the service girls. Ask. Pay the bar fine to the girl, and if you want to know what the girls will do, you ask them.

I am feeling very mellow today, so....
There are some amazing, tall, big-boobed ladies around. You will find almost all of the taller ladies like to go with farangs (I guess because we are so much taller than Thai men). If you are into body building you will find that many of them are more muscular than the smaller girls, but still every bit as feminine.
You can start by offering to buy them a drink and then, going very slowly, proceed up to the questions you want to ask. It may take several drinks before they will feel like opening up to you but if they do, the experience will be a memorable one for you.
I cannot help you with the other questions as I am not a technie geek nor a shopper.
Where are the geeks when you need one?

I Will help you just PM me. I live here as well. I have 2 companies here one is in consumer elctronics and the other in is clothes. Take no notice its just there way I saying welcome to you. They do it to all the new guys and to some of the not so new guys as well sometimes.

1. If you go into a bar, the girls will approach you, but just about anyone who is in the bar and smiles at you is usually game. You negotiate the LT or ST fee with girl and let them know if you want something special (unless it is anal or something else kinky, you usually don't need to ask). You will pay the mamasan or papasan for the barfine, but the girl will may handle that for you (with your money). Don't worry, they won't let you leave with the girl without paying the BF.
2. For computer stuff, go to Panthip Plaza. Don't expect to pay much less (if any) than you could get a discount store in the US (especially if you can get a mail-in rebate in the US). You can get cheap clothes in Thailand, like knit shirts, etc. These are sold on the streets or in big indoor malls like MBK, or the outdoor Chatuchank Weekend Market. Leave extra room in your luggage and buy shirts and other clothing in Thailand, but buy one size larger than normal. Don't pay the asking price.
3. Probably nothing of great value that you can carry back with you, except for “bogus” software or DVD's, some of which may not work when get back home, but at $130 baht each, don't complain. Make sure you take precautions to disguise the disks from custom agents in the US (don’t leave them in the original packaging).
