Hey guys,
Beware of long post! 1st post, will try not to disappoint!
First a little background.
1st time to bkk, 2nd time in los. I've anticipated this return for a better part of 2 yrs now. Before, it was just trial and error just experiencing things on the go in Phuket, but now it's a whole new ballgame. By using this forum and checking out the posts, I now have a game plan. I have maps, night/day schedules, women strategies and sexual scenarios....pretty much the works! I'm arriving around mid Aug in BKK for 6 days, then scooting over to Pattaya for 7, then back to BKK for the final 3. I pretty much know what I want to experience as I've been to Phuket for a short 5 days; I'm ready for the bkk/pttya experience. What I've read, I pretty much have this on my to do list: Eden at least twice, Thermae, sukhumvit scene, a lady boy and some older women (35+) just for starters.
My question is as being a newbie to these parts, why is it's so hard to leave? Why are we so passionate about this place?
I know for the obvious reason...women! but there has to be more than that. We've all looked back before boarding the bus/taxi to the airport already planning our return....it's not a pretty sight. I've been compiling my research since Sept 03 and at work the guys always ask me questions, recant my experiences/stories and look through my pictures (there almost lint). People think I'm silly spending so much time planning this trip but I don't think anything of it.
My conclusion.
I guess I can only speak for the guys that come periodically, that when I left Phuket, it was just as if someone pulled something that was rightfully mine away from me. There are other places in the world that are similar (as I've been told) but not as complete as los. I've read your posts and feel that you guys are so passionate that friendships, scraps and just good times have come from this forum/LOS....this is truly a brotherhood!
In the future my post will not be this long. Please critique at will in regards to my post (length not included)

What you are saying is very true.
Most guys I think feel that LOS is 'theirs'.
I always feel I can do what I want in LOS (sexually)
so I feel that's the place I am most free.
Pretty simple, but so basic it's like breathing.

1. easy going enviroment/sanook attitude
2. women
3. food
4. climate
5. sun sea sand
6. moderate living costs
