Not really a newb to Thailand but I've yet to check out any of these types of places and was wondering what the protocol is? Do you need to be a member? Better alone or with a group? Etc etc etc. Appreciate any help.

certainly better with a group, also depending on which club, you need shoes, although some do have some very trendy designs available at the door for a modest fee.

no need to be a member, but it helps to go with a member as you get better pricing and VIP treatment, suggest you go with smegma, but it might cost you a few drinks.

I noticed a Gentleman's club next to President Solitaire, has anyone been in to this one. Yea, the name escapes me as I usually have my mind on other items of interest during there opening hours!

do you mean club onze next to q-bar or the or the other place in that sub soi of solitaire?
on onze there are some remarks here, check the machine. the other place is supposd to be a gay place according to one of the door guys of solitaire. but that is second hand info and we all know how reliable those 'thai ' infos are!
