Hello everyone!!
i will be in Bkk from early September and for 6 months for business purposes. I will be staying in an area near the National Stadium and the Chulalongkorn (?) University. As I don't know much for Bkk although i've been there once some yrs ago (but only for a few days) I would like you to tell how close I am to areas like PatPong, Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy and Eden. Is any of these places within walking distance? Which other interesting places (if any) are nearby? Thank you all for reading my post!

Sounds like you are staying in Pathumwan Princess or some hotel nearby. You will be near the National Stadium BTS station, from there take the Skytrain to Nana (to get to Nana Plaza and Eden), Sala Daeng Station (to get to Patpong) and Asoke Station (to get to Soi Cowboy). Trip time will be about 10 minutes or so.

Thank you for your quick replies! I won't be in a hotel,i'll be in an apartment. Is the skytrain working 24hrs/day? Beacuse normally I will be free to visit those places late at night...And how about Eden?
