OK, I am a fooking idiot. I agreed to pick up my "GF" at Don Muang upon her return from visiting the other punter in Wales. At exactly what point my balls disappeared, I'm not quite sure, but they are definitely missing in action.
Anyways, the question is should I just take a metered taxi to the airport and let him wait outside while I go in to meet her, or should I hire a driver? I figure we will go from the airport to her apartment (where I will conduct a thorough search of her luggage, hehehe), gather some things for her, and then back to the GP where I'm staying, so there will be times when the driver would need to just hang out and wait for us.
Any of the brothers have a recommendation as to what the best form of hired transport might be for this situation?

Forget renting a driver for the whole time. Just get a metered taxi to the airport, then get another one for the return trip at the taxi que.

Hire a driver for the entire day.
Then have him kick you in the balls several times while you are waiting for this BG who you think is your girlfriend.
After you arrive at the hotel give the driver 5k Baht. Tell him to offer it to your BG for a ST while you claim to go back to your hotel.
Pretend to leave, back to your hotel...
Let the driver get started with his ST with your supposed GF.
Oh, you would have had to coach the driver to leave the door open or maybe open it for you when you come knocking and claim to be room service.
Once you burst into the room, you can shout profanities, pretend to be angry at the driver, then end the relationship and take off.
Best advice I may have ever given...

Good one Yokul... thank you sir, may I have another? Sad thing is, your scenario is probably a far better one than whatever will actually take place. This whole thing is like an out of body experience where I'm watching some bloody fool doing sh!t I'd never do in my right mind, but there I am doing it anyways. Believe me I'm fully aware of this train wreck that's about to take place, but for some reason I can't seem to bail out before the moment of impact.
Still looking for other alternatives on the transportation thing...

As BigDUSA says we have all been there. Seems though, HArry you're still stuck on this one and not fully cured. If you're in BKK now, cant you get some of the brothers to take you arround for more cures?
Look at CG, he has been been in love 29 times and is still alive and well!

Wow, youse guys are a real cheery bunch. Oh well.... ask a silly question....
Yeah Frank, I'm still stuck on this one - more than ever in fact. I arrive in Bkk on Saturday the 21st (a day after the August RT, wouldn't you know) and she gets in on the 23rd, so I've got a couple days to seek a cure.
