Hey Guys,
The time is almost here! Well I'll be in Thailand on the 9/11, and will drive down to Bangkok and meet up with who ever wants to meet for a night. After that I will be in Nonthaburi from 9/12-9/16 and then will be leaving to BKK. I was wondering if I leave on the 22, will I have enough time to go to Phuket too? Thanks guys.

I assume you are flying out of BKK on the 22nd. You could fly down to Phuket for a day or two, but you'd be cutting it real close if you drove. Asiaair still has pretty cheap fares on there website. Right around bt2000 rt.
13 days, and counting. How about beers at bamboo bar on the 16th.

Pattya is only a couple hours by bus or auto (depending on traffic). Air Con bus is only 80 or 100 Baht each way. Taxi or Van is higher. Yes it is worth it!!!

I agree. Its a 2 hour bus ride and it costs 90 baht one way. In terms of day and night activities, Pattaya is a good place.

May I disagree....
Stay in Bangkok, pataya has some night life but daylife activities are far from interesting. Skip the place is my advice.

Either in Pattaya or close by, during the daytime you can (apart from other "things") sail dinghys, Hobies etc., drive a Go Cart, drive off-road vehicles, learn to fly an aeroplane, hang glide, play golf, shoot at targets with hand guns, go bowling.....etc., etc. How long do you have!
You could do all of the above a few months a go but I guess things might've changed by now.

Hey Brocher, I have less then a week. I want to hit pattaya too but I don't want to miss out on the "nightlife" in Bangkok.
