although I am not totally a newbie I am a "virgin" to this forum
i posed this question to my friend who has been to BKK several times
i wish to have this bar girl (gogo dancer) from NEP stay with me my whole trip (yes, I know the comments "why, try all the flavors", "don't limit urself" and so on), but hey this is my question...
anyway, the bar fine is 600 bht and she charges 2,500 bht for LT. so how do I get awy from paying BF and LT which will equal 3,100 bht per day?
he says I should just tell her I "don't wanna pay BF, and to meet me after she finishes work". but my thinkiing is "what if she gets BF from someone else?"
my friend has assured me if she would prefer to have a sure thing (me) and pay the BF out of her take (2,500bht) and "enjoy" my company for the day (ie. shopping, meals. entertainment and "boom boom"). VERSUS taking the chance of me taking someone else or her getting a "complete stranger".
what are your thoughts?
should I try to lower her cost? if so, how much? (arriving Sept.18).
or should I try another "tried and true" method that one of the "brotherhood" has implemented into their forte'?
i don't wanna be cheap charlie.
but I do wnat my $ to go further,if possible.

Well if your going to try get her to take out the 600bht from her end, and she is going to stay with you 24/7, what is her tip going to be? And how will you handle her loss, since if she is a looker she might do 2 or 3 ST's a few of those days?
And not to mention that her BF is not hers to begin with, and goes to her BF credit for the month.
Assuming of course you don't wanna be cheap charlie like you said.

or do like BigDUSA or I would, and tell her you want her for XX days, and make an offer...
I think 2k/day would be a good starting point 
considering that if she is with you 24/7 you'll be feeding her as well

In more than 12 years of experience in BKK (and yes, please blow me and my mule, or your wife, while you start typing about dictionaries, trailer parks, and what you think you know about “my family”), I’ve found that those who actually swallow that bunk about girls who go 2 or 3 ST times a night are flattering themselves (“I’ve been with this BG who’s so awesome she blew three elephants, two cops, and a dozen tabs of yaba while waiting for the drink I ordered for her, then came to my room and made me feel like Lokul for a weekend…”), or are just easily convinced about anything. I’ve known, over the years, some of the hottest women in RB2, Hollywood, and Mandarin, and even they confess that their limit is 2 per night. There simply isn’t enough time for them to process the turnaround of getting to work, getting bought out, to the hotel and back, doing the biz, and etc etc. They simply aren’t that “kai-yan.” Yes, maybe, on rare occassions, they managed 3 in an evening; if they work the beer garten or the disco, that’s possible. If they’re strictly working out of a gogo, not likely.
Also, the BG’s do not receive the bar fine themselves in any direct or, truth be told, indirect way. That 600 goes to the bar. If a girl meets you in your room *instead* of going to work, and she wants you to give the 600 so she can pay her own barfine -- rather than having you meet her at her gogo during working hours, or taking you there herself -- you can bet she’s pocketing that money and the bar never sees it. BGs have to “out” (be barfined) a certain number of times a month (usually 6 or 7) ; if they meet the qouta, and make it to work on time every night, and dance every rotation, and don’t commit any of a myriad other minor infractions, they will get their monthly salary in full. In reality, BGs rarely get the full amount: they’ve taken days off, shown up late, etc etc too many times. A smart BG working for a gogo just doesn’t give a sh_t about her monthly salary; she keeps her phone turned on, keeps her regs happy, pockets as much money directly from them as possible, and uses the bar for those nights when she doesn’t have something set up on her own, and needs a show-window for tourists. Barfines have their uses for BGs -- it shows them you aren’t looking for the cheapest ‘ho in the road, gives them a chance to be seen in their own environment with you in case anything goes wrong (you stiff them, you’re a psycho, etc) and they want your face remembered for independent confirmation.
So, in keeping with this topic, if you want real value for your money, negotiate a median price for her barfine and typical LT rate; if she accepts, then she knows what she’s doing. If she rejects yr offer, chances are she doesn’t really give a sh_t about you as regular, and would rather work the room and take the chance of coming up dry. And IMHO, 2000 for 24/7 sounds well within Farang Kee Nok country. A LT rate of 2500 isn’t really for “the whole day” for a smart BG anyway; it’s for from between 9pm-2am and about noon-2pm tomorrow -- other than that, she needs to get home, smoke some pinks, f_ck her boyfriend, eat som tam, take a sh_t and a nap, etc. A smart BG is *never* gonna let you take up 24 hours of her time for 2500baht *and* pay her own barfine out of that money. Forget it.
Then again, there are plenty of suckers who wouldn’t know a smart BG from the hole where Dr Love’s dictionary should have been…

I agree with sorapong insightful post up until we get to the price.
Let's assume I'm going to stay with the BKK BG for 2 weeks. I'm not going to pay anywhere near 14K. I figure 10K plus expenses and I'm not talking gold or clothes shopping. If she turns me down there's always another. $50USD is day is a lot of money in LOS.

A hotel in NZ wanted $165 a night plus GST for their hotel suite - I stayed for a month and they charged me $95 a night including GST - I did the same a year later - was treated like an old friend and was charged $79 a night including GST. Can you see the logic in the hotels dealings with me?
1500 - 2000 baht a day is my advice and let her go her own way for a few hours each day so she can do her email, send sms and make phone calls to the senior sponsors - just like the hotel she has a business to run.

Let me clarify a point about pricing that I was making: there are plenty of BGs who will spend 24 hours, and possibly even longer, with you for 2000b. Some of them might even pay their own bar fine out of that money, though it’s more likely they’ll just f_ck off from work that night and keep the full 2k, no matter what they tell you. There are also plenty of BGs who will let Nigel f_ck them in the ass, the ear, the eye, and anywhere else his magic wand will fit. (Though I’ve heard he pays them rather more than 2k a session…)
Another point about Skywalker’s thought about telling the girl just to meet him after work, other than his well-founded worry that she might get BF’d while working and not show, is that many girls do not go with guys who won’t BF them during working hours, since that’s technically a fine-able offense; if a mamasan or manager sees a girl meet a guy immediately after work, she can be fined something on the order of 2000b by the bar, and she may not be willing to risk it. There’s also no discounting the wear-and-tear a full night of merely dancing, working the room, drinking with johns who won’t pay bar, and etc will take on a girl; meet her after work and she may fall asleep halfway between the shower and your intentions.
SkyW, your best bet may be to pay bar for her the first night, treat her like a queen the next day, tell her you want her to stay with you all week, and that you don’t want to pay bar for her everynight; ask her instead to take the week off, and perhaps intimate that a couple pairs of jeans or a trip to MBK might be part of the package if she behaves. If she really likes you, and prefers you to NewGuyX -- or NoGuyAtAll -- night after night, she’ll see the benefit and you can strike a deal. If you really want her round the clock for a few days, 2500 a day, no bar fine included, is reasonable -- no matter what those oldtimers here on the forum will tell you about the buffalo they once bought for half that during the long weekend they spent learning to “wow pasa lao” in Roi Et. Yes, you could get another girl for less. You say you’re not a cheap charlie, then remember that you could also go to San Diego and get a toothless crack ho in a stocking cap to blow you in your car for $50. If you really like the girl, it may pay to think globally, not yokal-ly.
No matter what you do, always prepare yourself for the fact that she could bolt at any time, especially if she starts to get bored. Trying to keep a BG with you fulltime for a week in Bangkok is iffy under the best of circumstances; if it’s strictly a cash deal for her, and there’s the nagging feeling that you’ve already bargained her down from what she thinks she’s worth, there are just too many reasons for her to pick a fight, get pouty, do something unpleasant, split. I always found that after 36 hours, you’re better off letting her go back to work for the evening -- especially if it’s a week night. Just be sure both your cel phones are working, then go out and have a good time somewhere else that evening with a friend; chances are she’ll be ringing your number well before 1:30am, wanting to know where she should meet you after work, bar fine be damned. Then, 24-36 hours later, repeat the process. Chances are you’ll see something else you’d like to sample in the meantime, but she’ll still be ringing you anyway, and then it’s a buyers market.
