Herm... at the risk of fugging this thread, 36 exp run about b120/roll.. some discount if you buy volume. No significant diff between the speeds or between Kodak/Fuji.

Got me a Sony DSC F828 before I left Germany on my last trip... This thing is the Dogs Bollocks!
Much too large for the pocket though.
It does everything except make coffee...
Had an ex wife like that...
Cost in Frankurt around 900 Euro's.
Maybe a bit cheaper now.. just my luck!

One definite advantage of digital cameras as opposed to film cameras is that you cut out the middle man and possible hassles when trying to get risque or straight up smut photos developed. No problem in that department with digital. Plus, depending on the size card you use, you can hold a buttload of pics and video files.
Film is cool for standard/family type shots, but as far as convenience for this happy horndog, digital is the way to go.
