Hermano, you are running behind on a host of other threads, like Bandits thread with the test, RAP - thread with poems of THailand, We're still short of Prezels at the White House etc, etc, and you are rambling on about wooden ships??
You have serious capasity constraints here. You've GOT to start to make priorities, you can't sail away from the problem on a wooden ship!

There is one shop in River City Shopping Center - at the river end of Siphaya Road, next to the Royal Orchid Hotel - which specialises in these; however they are beautifully made scale models of famous ships, Cutty Sark, the Temeraire etc., and VERY expensive.

Chatuchak for sure, there's a few good shops around there and quite reasonably priced, I hope to take one with me when I next go home. I did see another shop but I cannot think where now, possibly Seacon Square, going there later....I look around and get you a card if it's there.

Hermanolobo what exactly are you looking for? a highly detailed model or just a JJ thing? for a highly detailed one check out fortune town/it-mall 3rd or 4th floor. there's a shop with beautiful ship models! these are scale models of the real things (e.g.: bounty, santa maria etc.) and starting price is around Baht 25K and up (sky is the limit)

Here's a contact in Chiang Mai who manufactures all kinds or wooden model ships. They are the sole distributors to retail outlets around Thailand. It's called "Guy- Hand Made Shop". You can call them at 053-433861 and ask them where you can buy one in Bangkok.
