Hello,
I've been to BKK a number of times, but never made to MBK.
What's the fastest way to get there from Soi 11 Suk?
Also, does MBK have a movie theater?

Take the BTS Skytrain to Siam.
There you will find Siam Square, Discovery Center and MBK all within reasonable walking distance.
And yes it does have a Movie Theater, more than one I believe.

To get to MBK more directly, Take the BTS to the National Stadium stop, and enter MBK directly from the platform into the Toyku Department Store (just follow the crowd leaving the BTS), which is at one end of MBK. If you are on the Sukhumvit Line, you will change trains at Siam (no charge) to get to National Stadium.
There is a large movie theatre with 8 screens on the top floor, including some with luxuary seating for an extra charge. They also have a gigantic food court, along with many other restaurants throughout the building.
Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes because the place is huge. It is so large that there are 8 Chesters grills, 5 KFC's, and 7 McDonalds's restaurants in the same building.

Whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE your tilac to MBK as there are many gold shops.
I agree with good shoes and if you want to really see MBK and take in a movie, some of the latest releases, then expect to spend a day there.
Plenty of food and foot/massage shops to be able to relax, great food and you never know you may even get lucky.

me, from soi 11, I just take a cab and tell him "Emmbeekay khrap".
me lazy.

 that's how it was explained to me by another member, but I think when you change trains some may call it Siam but on some maps I see at as Central.

On the maps I have, it is called Siam or Siam/Central. Which ever, there is an anouncement in Thai and English telling you that it is an interchange station

I also have a cheap map that says SIAM (central station), but the stop is next to the Siam Centre and the signs on the platform say SIAM and the voice on the tape inside the train also says SIAAAM.
No confusion anywhere in sight just on the cheap maps, probably to indicate that all (when there were only 2) lines come in this station. So I guess this is some sort of promotinal stunt from some mapmakers. BTS is clear in this. If you go to SIAM you can not go wrong. If you are waiting to get to the CENTRAL stop then you could be in that train for hours.
