I use one in MBK but I forget the name, ground floor into the main doors past the statue of MBK and towards the back to the left of the food area.
Top Charoen has a shop at the mouth of Soi 3, next to Royal Tailors. Haven't used it but have other Top Charoen shops and they've all been fine.

There are lots of good shops in BKK, the only issue is negotiating and not having to pay farang prices. The best price quote I got was at Pantip Plaza, left side, 1st or 2nd floor (don’t remember).
There are about 10 optical shops right next to each other on New Phetburi (same street as Pantip Plaza) right near the Ratchathewi BTS stop (it’s a very short walk if you get off the correct BTS platform exit). You should be able to get a decent discount once you let them know that you will not pay the price marked on the frames.

Actually did this on my last visit ( two weeks ago )
Went to Top Charoen and got this:
New frames
New lenses
Eye exam
3 sets of contacts
2 sets of blue contacts
All it cost me was about B9000, here in the states it would have easily cost me B25,000 ( or around $600 US )
Very happy with the results and quality is apparent. VERY pleased indeed.
