Hi guys, Anyone know where I can pick up a left handed acoustic pretty cheaply? Will be throwing it away when I leave LOS so don't need a brilliant one. Been to all the places in this thread (apart from the market which is tomorrow) but no luck. cheers

there's a music store in the trade center not far from the sky train station where you get off for pantip. there's another along the way to pantip, from the sky-train along that main street that pantip is on. same side of the street. I got a way cool bass there, and they had some pretty good deals on other guitars... are you thinking of busking in bangkok? or just can't stand to be away from a six-string for too long? (one of the few things about my apt in the usa I miss when in LOS)

Quote: from morindae on 11:51 am on May 19, 2004 ... I'll probably end up spending a short time with one of the cheaper models.
Might also try Central Dept Store near Chitlom. They have about 20-30 guitars at all prices. One (the Jo-Jo) was about 900 baht ($22) and they go right up the line. Friend of mine bought one for about $50 (Yamaha) which he thought was a good deal. Even came with a case.... the cardboard one used for shipping.
