Have not visited a tailor yet, but as Thai Air managed to loose my luggage, I have done som clothes shopping.
I've got somewhat expensive taste of clothes. I went into robinson next to my hotel, with no great expectations.
There is a sale there now, and with the green coupons you get, you can do even better.
I would recommend a shop on first floor (mens department) where they sell Hazard brand. I sucpect this to be a upmarket Thai brand, but: Great design and fantastic quality.
I will go back there to change my entire wardrobe. Great value for money.

No, not really upmarket... I don't think there is a Thai clothing product for men which can be considered upmarket.
Good quality and styles, though... lots of sales on these Hazzard clothing all year around.

I normally shop in fairly expensive shops in Norway. And I spot good clothing when I see it. Do not really care about the brand: Hazard seems very good, great design and quality.

Come on. Expensive taste? You are not even trying. Try Paul Smith 1st flr Emporium. Bt10,000 for a shirt, Bt29,000 for trousers and Bt7,500 for flip flops!!

Speaking of Emporium, we were in there today, shopping for the missus' bag she wants in return for the little favour tonight.
She picked out one and asked the price, any bag that has no price on it, ya dont need to ask the price, 25,000b. I said fcuk me as I spat out my coke from my plastic cup, you want to spend more money on a bag than what grandma's house is worth, fcuk me.
No bag, but the favour still happnin, what a trooper she is, must have been the sex last night.

P.S. A consumer tip. Go to Prada, buy a purse. Go elsewhere and buy a fake Prada bag and place in wrapping and Prada shopping bag. Save purse for when you are next caught with your trousers down.
